Begonia boliviensis ‘Bonfire’, a heavy-flowering, bright orange-red cultivar of a tuberous-rooted begonia species native to the cloud forests of the Bolivian Andes. The species was introduced to cultivation in 1864 by Richard Pearce (after whom Begonia pearcei is named) and was one of the species used by John Seden in the production of the first tuberous begonia hybrids.
